Dawin Polanco (born December 12, 1990), better known mononymously as Dawin, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper and record producer from Brooklyn, New York. He is best known for the song " Dessert", which reached number 68 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Career Dawin released his debut single, "Just Girly Things", in 2014. It reached the top 40 of the Dance/Electronic Songs chart in the United States, and was used in a number of Vines, which led him to sign a record deal in 2014. Richard Lamar "Ricky" Hawk (born January 22, 1998), better known as Silentó () or Prince Silentó, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his 2015 debut single "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)", which charted at number three on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. He later released a project titled ''Fresh Outta High School'' in August 2018 after some delay. He is a native of Stone Mountain, Georgia. On February 1, 2021, he was arrested in DeKalb County, Georgia and charged with multiple murder-related counts in the shooting death of his cousin, Frederick Rooks. He is currently being held without bond. Career Silentó's debut single, "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)", made with Bolo Da Producer, was released on his YouTube channel on June 25, 2015.
