David Reidy (Limerick Hurler)
David Reidy (born 1993) is an Irish hurler who plays for Limerick Intermediate Championship club Dromin-Athlacca and at inter-county level with the Limerick senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a right wing-forward. Playing career Mary Immaculate College During his studies at Mary Immaculate College, Reidy was selected for the college's senior hurling team during his second year. On 27 February 2016, he won a Fitzgibbon Cup medal when Mary Immaculate College won their first ever title after a 1-30 to 3-22 defeat of the University of Limerick. Dromin-Athlacca Reidy joined the Dromin-Athlacca club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels before eventually joining the club's top adult team in the Limerick Intermediate Championship. On 15 October 2013, Reidy lined out at centre-forward when Dromin-Athlacca faced Knockaderry in the Limerick Intermediate Championship final. The GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition in Ireland, and has been contested every year except one since 1887. The final, currently held on the third Sunday in August, is the culmination of a series of games played during July and August, with the winning team receiving the Liam MacCarthy Cup. 2017 Christy Ring Cup
The 2017 Christy Ring Cup was the 13th staging of the Christy Ring Cup hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 2005. The competition began on 22 April 2017 and ended on 10 June 2017. Meath were the 2016 champions and were promoted to the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. Mayo returned to the Christy Ring Cup after gaining promotion from the Nicky Rackard Cup. On 10 June 2017, Carlow won the Christy Ring Cup following a 5-23 to 4-15 defeat of Antrim. This was their third Christy Ring Cup title, their first in eight seasons. The 2017 National Hurling League was the 86th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. The Kildare county hurling team represents Kildare in hurling and is governed by Kildare GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. Donal O'Grady (Limerick Hurler)
Donal O'Grady (born 3 July 1980) is an Irish hurler who played as a midfielder and later centre back for the Limerick senior team. Born in Ballingarry, County Limerick, O'Grady first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-one when he first linked up with the Limerick under-21 team. He made his senior debut in the 2004 championship. O'Grady has since gone on to play a key part for Limerick, and has won one Munster medal and one National League (Division 2) medal. O'Grady has been an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. O'Grady has been a member of the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions and has won two Railway Cup medals.
