David Neres
David Neres Campos (; born 3 March 1997) is a Brazilian professional association football, footballer who plays as a winger (association football), winger for Portuguese Primeira Liga club S.L. Benfica, Benfica and the Brazil national football team, Brazil national team. Neres is a graduate of São Paulo FC, São Paulo's youth system and was promoted to the first team in 2016. He joined AFC Ajax, Ajax in January 2017. The 2016 U-20 Copa Libertadores ( es, Copa Libertadores Sub-20 2016) was the 3rd edition of the U-20 Copa Libertadores, South America's premier under-20 club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958.
