David Hay (Australian Politician)
David Aberdeen Hay, (born 26 October 1933) is a former Australian politician. He was the Liberal member for Manly in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1984 to 1991, and state Minister for Local Government and Minister for Planning from 1988 to 1991. Hay was born in Manly and was educated at Manly Boys' High School. He served in the military as a RAAF pilot, and worked as a company director. He was an Alderman of Manly Municipal Council for twenty-three years, including six terms as Mayor and eight as Deputy Mayor, and was also a Mackellar County Councillor for six years, including one year as chairman. In 1984, Hay defeated the Labor member for the seat of Manly, Alan Stewart, and was made Minister for Local Government and Minister for Planning shortly after winning his second term in 1988. The Honourable Robert James Webster (born 16 September 1951) is an Australian company director and grazier and a former New South Wales parliamentarian. Early life Webster was born in Sydney and attended Newington College (1963-1969), commencing as a preparatory school student in Wyvern House. From 1970 until his election to State parliament he was a grazier at Salisbury Downs, a property near Bigga. Harry Jensen
Henry Frederick Jensen AO, (12 July 1913 – 27 August 1998) was an Australian ALP politician, who served as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1965 until 1981. He was also Lord Mayor of Sydney from 1957 until 1965. Born in Newtown, New South Wales, Jensen was educated at Gardiners Road Public School, Marist Brothers High School in Darlinghurst, and St. Joseph's College, Hunters Hill. He joined the Labor Party in 1929. He worked as an electrician and became an organiser within the Australian Electrical Trades Union and a delegate to the Australian Trades and Labor Council. He subsequently established his own electrical contracting business and later worked in footwear distribution. Gerald Beresford Ponsonby Peacocke (2 June 1931 – 23 May 2013) was an Australian politician, elected as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly. A solicitor by profession, and a former city councillor, Gerry Peacocke was elected the National Party member for Dubbo, in 1981. The Minister for Local Government is a minister in the New South Wales Government and has responsibilities which includes all local government areas and related legislation in New South Wales, the most primary of which is the ''Local Government Act 1993''. Janice Crosio
Janice Ann Crosio (; born 3 January 1939) is an Australian politician from the Labor Party. She was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, and became the first woman Cabinet minister in New South Wales. Later she was a member of the Australian House of Representatives, and a Parliamentary Secretary. Early life Crosio was born in the Sydney suburb of Granville and educated at Strathfield Girls High School. In 1957, she married Ivo Crosio and they have one son and twin daughters.
