David E. Rutledge
David E. Rutledge is a former state representative, who represented the 54th House District ( Ypsilanti Township). Michigan's 54th House district covers the eastern portion of Washtenaw County, and includes Superior Township and Ypsilanti Township, as well as the City of Ypsilanti. Personal life Rutledge is married to Geraldine Simmons Rutledge and the couple have two children. He graduated from Tennessee State University with a degree in political science and has served on several boards and commissions in his locality of Washtenaw County. Legislative career During the first several months of tenure, Representative Rutledge has either introduced or participated in discussions and legislation to aid homeowners, protect school districts, and combat teen violence. Richard Dale Snyder (born August 19, 1958) is an American business executive, venture capitalist, attorney, accountant, and politician who served as the 48th governor of Michigan from 2011 to 2019. Ypsilanti (), commonly shortened to Ypsi, is a city in Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the city's population was 20,648. The city is bounded to the north by Superior Township and on the west, south, and east by Ypsilanti Township. Superior Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan
Superior Charter Township is a charter township of Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 13,058 at the 2010 census. Communities * Dixboro is an unincorporated community located within the township at . Dixboro was settled as early as 1825 by John Dix and was platted in 1826 by A. B. Rowe. The name was first recorded in 1828 at a time when the area was still administratively part of Wayne County until Washtenaw County was created in 1829.
