David Casinos
David Casinos Sierra (born 15 February 1972 in Valencia) is a Paralympian Track and field, athlete from Spain competing mainly in category F11 shot put events. Personal Casinos was born 15 February 1972 from Valencia. He is married to Celia Maestre Martín, and the pair were dating in 2004. In 2013, he was awarded the gold Real Orden al Mérito Deportivo, at a ceremony at the Teatro de Madrid Cofidis, and attended by Princess Elena, Minister of Education, Culture and Sport, José Ignacio Wert, the president of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), Miguel Cardinal, and the Director General of Sports of CSD, Ana Muñoz. In November 2013, he participated in Universal Children's Day celebration in Madrid by presenting a book to the Supreme Council of Sports. Athletics Maestre became David Casinos guide in 2002. 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships
The 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships was the biggest track and field competition for athletes with a disability since the 2012 Summer Paralympics. It was held in Lyon, France, and lasted from 20 to 28 July. Around 1,100 athletes competed, from 94 different countries. The event was held in the Stade du Rhône located at the Parc de Parilly in Vénissieux, in Lyon Metropolis. Venue The Championship was staged at the Stade du Rhône in the Parc de Parilly. The stadium, previously known as the Stade Parilly, was refurbished in 2012 and officially reopened and renamed on 3 September 2012. Logroño
Logroño () is the capital of the province of La Rioja, situated in northern Spain. Celia Maestre Martín (born 26 March 1981) is a Spanish track and field sighted guide and social worker who has represented Spain at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Summer Paralympics as a guide. Personal Maestre was born on 26 March 1981 in Valencia. She is from the Valencia region of Spain. She is married to David Casinos, and is a social worker. The pair were dating in 2004. In 2004, she was a sociology student. In 2012, she lived in Moncada, Valencia. Athletics Maestre became David Casinos guide in 2002. She was guide for Casinos at the 2004 Summer Paralympics. At the time, they were dating and broke Paralympic taboo by sharing a room together in the Paralympic village. The 2016 IPC Athletics European Championships was a track and field competition for athletes with a disability open to International Paralympic Committee (IPC) affiliated countries within Europe, plus Israel. It was held in Grosseto, Italy and took part between 10 and 16 June. The competition was staged at Stadio Olimpico Carlo Zecchini. Approximately 700 athletes from 35 countries attended the games. This was the last edition of the event held under the IPC Athletics title. Russia topped the medal tables in both gold medals won (51) and total number of medals won (131). The men's discus throw at the 2014 IPC Athletics European Championships was held at the Swansea University Stadium from 18 to 23 August. In the F56 event several F54 and F55 athletes entered as no competition in their classification was available. The 2014 IPC Athletics European Championships was a track and field competition for athletes with a disability open to International Paralympic Committee (IPC) affiliated countries within Europe, plus Azerbaijan and Israel. It was held in Swansea, Wales and lasted from 18 to 23 August. The competition was staged at Swansea University Stadium. Approximately 550 athletes from 37 countries attended the games. Russia won the Games atop the medal table with 41 Gold medals, and also collected the greatest overall medal haul with 88. The host nation, Britain, finished third. Of the 37 competing nations, 34 managed to achieve a podium finish. There were seven world records set and a further seven European records, in a games that was beset by difficult weather conditions throughout the tournament. The World Para Athletics European Championships (''European Para Athletics Championships''), known prior to 2018 as the IPC Athletics European Championships is an event organized by World Para Athletics, the international athletics federation established under the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) in 2016. Athletes with a physical disability compete, and there is also a specific category for athletes with an intellectual disability.
