David Blitzer
David Scott Blitzer (born September 7, 1969) is an American private equity investor and sports team owner. A native of New Jersey, he graduated from the Wharton School and joined Blackstone Inc in 1991, where he serves as head of their Tactical Opportunities group. Blitzer is also the co-managing partner of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), a sports and property management company he founded with Josh Harris which owns the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils among other brands and properties. Blitzer is also an owner or significant stakeholder of several association football clubs, including Crystal Palace F.C., Real Salt Lake, FC Augsburg, G.D.
