Davi Rossetto
Davi Rossetto de Oliveira Athayde (born July 27, 1992), is a Brazil, Brazilian professional basketball player who currently plays with Minas Tênis Clube (basketball), Minas in the Novo Basquete Brasil, Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). He is 6'1" (1.85 m) and is a point guard. Youth career Rossetto started playing with São Paulo's Hebraica in 2003 at age 10. He later played with Círculo Militar until joining the Esporte Clube Pinheiros (basketball), Pinheiros youth system in 2005. With the Esporte Clube Pinheiros (basketball), Pinheiros youth teams, Rossetto won a number of titles, and earned a respectable reputation. He made the U-17 national team in 2009. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. 2017 FIBA AmeriCup
The 2017 FIBA AmeriCup was the 18th edition of the FIBA AmeriCup, which is the main tournament for senior men's basketball national teams of the FIBA Americas. The tournament was held in Medellín, Colombia, Montevideo, Uruguay, and Bahía Blanca and Córdoba, in Argentina, from 25 August, to 3 September 2017. 2013–14 NBB Season
The 2013–14 NBB season was the sixth season of the Novo Basquete Brasil, the Brazilian basketball league. This tournament was organized entirely by the Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB). The NBB serves as a qualifying competition for international tournaments such as Liga Sudamericana and FIBA Americas League. Seventeen teams playing each other in the regular season. At the end of the home and away matches round the top four teams qualified for the quarterfinals of the playoffs automatically, while the teams finishing in the 5th and 12th place participated in the first round of the playoffs to determine the other four teams in the quarterfinals, best of five matches, advances to the next phase who win three games.
