Darryl Anthony Powell (born 15 November 1971) is a sports agent and former professional association football, footballer who made more than 350 appearances in the Football League and Premier League and played international football for the Jamaica national football team, Jamaica national team. He usually played as a midfielder, central midfielder. Career The son of a Reggae musician, he was born in Lambeth, London, and his career included spells at English clubs Portsmouth F.C., Portsmouth, Derby County F.C., Derby County, Birmingham City F.C., Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday F.C., Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest F.C., Nottingham Forest, as well as a stint at Colorado Rapids in the USA. Lambeth () is a district in South London, England, in the London Borough of Lambeth, historically in the County of Surrey. It is situated south of Charing Cross.
