Darlingside
Darlingside is a four-person indie folk band from Boston, MA. The band consists of Don Mitchell, Auyon Mukharji, Harris Paseltiner, and David Senft. Their style has been described as “exquisitely-arranged, literary-minded, baroque folk-pop” by All Songs Considered. Their latest full-length album, ''Fish Pond Fish'', was released in October 2020. History Darlingside began as a five-piece touring Indie rock band in the fall of 2009. Members (Sam, Don, Auyon, Harris, and David) met as undergraduates while attending Williams College in Williamstown, MA. A previous iteration of the band existed while they were students and included as many as seven members (other members were Eli Walker, Dan Wollin, and Shea Chen). In 2010, the band went on their first national tour and released a self-produced six-track studio EP, ''EP 1''. ''Extralife'' is the third studio album by the American Folk band Darlingside. It was released on February 23, 2018, by More Doug Records and Thirty Tigers. Release On February 7, 2018, the band announced the release of their third studio album, along with the single "Futures". The music video for the single, which was directed by Keith Boynton, features a time traveler's attempt to reset the balance of the world. Darlingside's lead vocalist Don Mitchell explained the single: "'Futures,' to me, is about taking our collective dread for what's to come and turning what could be a helpless feeling into a call to action, however insignificant that action might feel at the time," Critical reception ''Extralife'' was met with "universal acclaim" reviews from critics. Heather Maloney
Heather Maloney (born December 4, 1985) is an American singer-songwriter. In 2009, she self-released her debut album, ''Cozy Razor's Edge'', followed by ''Time & Pocket Change'' in 2011. In 2012, Maloney signed with Northampton, Massachusetts, Northampton-based label Signature Sounds Recordings where she released ''Heather Maloney'' (2013), ''Woodstock'' (2014), ''Making Me Break'' (2015) and ''Just Enough Sun'' (2018). The full length album ''Soil in the Sky'' was released in 2019. Early life and education Maloney was raised in Hamburg, New Jersey. Caitlin Canty
Caitlin Canty (born January 24, 1982) is an American singer/songwriter. The ''San Francisco Chronicle'' calls Canty's alto a "casually devastating voice" and NPR says her music mixes "a gritty side with aching ballads.". Originally from Vermont, Canty moved to East Nashville, Tennessee in 2015. She tours internationally and spends much of her time on the road. Canty writes and performs primarily on a 1930s Recording King guitar. Early life and education Canty was born in Vermont. She sang in the Proctor Junior/Senior High School chorus and played the trombone in the band. Tall Heights
Tall Heights is an electrofolk duo based in Boston, USA. The group was formed in 2009 and consists of the singer/guitarist Tim Harrington and the singer/cellist Paul Wright. Tours have also had the percussionist/singer Paul Dumas. Their albums are ''Man of Stone'', ''Neptune'' and ''Pretty Colors For Your Actions''.
