Darkseid War
''Justice League: The Darkseid War'' is a DC Comics limited series and the final storyline featuring Justice League in the New 52, before transitioning to DC Rebirth. This arc shows a prophecy come to fruition as the Justice League are caught in a war between Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor, only to find out someone else is facilitating it all for own scheme. The crossover received critical acclaim for the engaging plot, the action, and artstyle of Jason Fabok. Plot summary Prologue The dark secret of existence is that history has been destroyed and reborn over and over, in an endless repetition. As far as Metron is concerned, this is a cycle that must end. Gary Frank (comics)
Gary Frank (born 1969) is a British comics artist, notable for pencilling on ''Midnight Nation'' and ''Supreme Power'', both written by J. Michael Straczynski. He has also worked with author Peter David on ''The Incredible Hulk (comic book), The Incredible Hulk'' and ''Supergirl (comic book), Supergirl''. He had a creator ownership, creator-owned series, ''Kin (comics), Kin'', which he wrote himself, published by Top Cow Productions in 2000. Writer Geoff Johns, who has collaborated with Frank, has opined that Frank's rendition of Superman is the best of his generation and that the only other artist in the same league with Frank in this regard is Curt Swan. Convergence (comics)
"Convergence" is a weekly comic book storyline published by DC Comics that ran from April 2015 to May 2015. The series consists of an eponymous #0 issue, an eight-issue core miniseries, and 40 two-issue tie-in miniseries. "Convergence" continues from the weekly series '' Earth 2: World's End'' and '' The New 52: Futures End''. In the story, Brainiac collects cities and inhabitants from various timelines that have ended and traps them in domes on a planet outside of time and space. He then exposes the domes to one another to see how the characters interact. This event marks the return of DC characters and timelines from before the 2011 " Flashpoint" storyline that led to the creation of The New 52 Universe. Kryptonite
Kryptonite is a fictional material that appears primarily in Superman stories published by DC Comics. In its best-known form, it is a green, crystalline material originating from Superman's home world of Krypton that emits a unique, poisonous radiation that can weaken and even kill Kryptonians. Kryptonite radiation can emit through any element except lead. Thus, Superman has a special lead suit to protect himself from the radiation. There are other varieties of Kryptonite, such as red and gold Kryptonite, which have different but still generally negative effects. Lena Luthor is a fictional comic book character in DC Comics. She is the sister of Superman's nemesis Lex Luthor.
