Darius Stills
Darius Stills (born May 1, 1998) is an American football defensive tackle who is a free agent. He played college football at West Virginia. Early years Stills attended Fairmont Senior High School in Fairmont, West Virginia. During his career, Stills had 191 tackles and 44 tackles for loss. He committed to West Virginia University to play college football. College career Stills played in 21 total games his first two years at West Virginia, recording 13 tackles and one sack. He became a starter his junior year in 2019 and recorded 46 tackles and seven sacks. Prior to his senior season, Stills was selected the Big 12 Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. Professional career Las Vegas Raiders Stills signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent on May 7, 2021. He was waived/injured on August 24, 2021 and placed on injured reserve. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. Indoor Football League
The Indoor Football League (IFL) is a professional indoor American football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. It has one of the largest number of currently active teams among indoor football leagues. The league has operated continuously under the same name and corporate structure longer than any other current indoor football league. With the closure of the Arena Football League in 2019, the IFL is the oldest active professional indoor football league in North America. As of 2022 season, the league consists of 14 teams in two conferences with each team playing 16 games over 19 weeks. IFL players earn US$250–500 per game played, with a $25 bonus given to players on the winning team each week. Additionally, the teams provide housing for its players during the season. Kenneth Lee Stills Jr. (born April 22, 1992) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Oklahoma and was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Early years Stills attended La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, California, where he was a three-sport star in football, basketball, and track. In his sophomore year, he had 30 catches for 627 yards and six touchdowns. As a junior, he snatched 62 passes for 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns. As a senior in 2009, he was named CIF first-team at wide receiver after hauling in 45 receptions for 914 yards and 10 touchdowns. Kenneth Lee Stills Sr. (born September 6, 1963) is a former American football safety in the National Football League (NFL). He is the father of American football wide receiver Kenny Stills. Stills was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the eighth round of the 1985 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wisconsin. His first start in the NFL came against the Chicago Bears, the Packers' most hated rivals during the 1980s, and he memorably cost his team a 15-yard penalty for shoving Matt Suhey at the line of scrimmage. Stills also played for the Minnesota Vikings for one season before retiring. He was a former head coach for the River City Rage of the United Indoor Football and running backs coach for the Los Angeles Xtreme of the XFL.
