Daria Romanovna Usacheva (pronounced Usachyova; russian: Дарья Романовна Усачёва, born 22 May 2006) is a Russian figure skater. She is the 2021 Skate America silver medalist. On the junior level, she is the 2020 World Junior silver medalist, the 2019–20 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, the 2019 Denis Ten Memorial Challenge champion, and the 2020 Russian junior national bronze medalist. Personal life Usacheva was born in Khabarovsk on 22 May 2006. Her figure skating idol is her training mate, 2018 Olympic champion Alina Zagitova. Career Early years Usacheva began learning how to skate in 2009 at the age of three in her native Khabarovsk. After moving to Moscow with her family, Usacheva trained for several years in the group of Oksana Bulycheva at Sambo 70. Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. Alysa Liu (born August 8, 2005) is a retired American competitive figure skater. Liu is the youngest-ever U.S. women's national champion, having won her first title at age 13. Junior Grand Prix Final
The ISU Junior Grand Prix Final or JGP Final (titled the ISU Junior Series Final in the 1997–98 season) is the culmination of a series of junior-level competitions – the ISU Junior Grand Prix organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters earn qualifying points at each Junior Grand Prix event. At the end of the series, the six highest-placing skaters from each discipline advance to the JGP Final.
