Daniel Thomas O'Connor (born March 30, 1985) is an American professional Boxing, boxer. June 14, 2010 O'Connor currently fights for the boxing promotion Murphys Boxing, which was founded by Ken Casey of the Boston punk band, Dropkick Murphys. Early life An Irish American, O'Connor started playing soccer at the age of five and continued throughout high school. He remains an avid soccer fan and is a supporter of Celtic F.C., Liverpool F.C., his home town team the, New England Revolution, and is a member of American Outlaws US Soccer Supporters. After meeting O'Connor and learning of his loyal support, the New England Revolutions made O'Connor an honorary captain for the 6/2/12 Revs versus Chicago Fire game. Ray Charles Leonard (born May 17, 1956), best known as "Sugar" Ray Leonard, is an American former professional boxer, motivational speaker, and occasional actor. Often regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time, he competed professionally between 1977 and 1997, winning world titles in five weight classes; the lineal championship in three weight classes; as well as the undisputed welterweight championship. Leonard was part of the "Four Kings", a group of boxers who all fought each other throughout the 1980s, consisting of Leonard, Roberto Durán, Thomas Hearns, and Marvin Hagler. Ronnie Shields (born June 6, 1958 in Port Arthur, Texas) is a former professional boxer in the featherweight division and is currently a boxing trainer. Amateur career Shields had a stellar amateur career. In 1974 he was the National Junior Olympics Featherweight champion. In 1975 he was the National Golden Gloves Featherweight champion.
