Danny Etling
Daniel Patrick Etling (born July 22, 1994) is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Purdue and LSU, and was drafted by the New England Patriots in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Etling also played for the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, and BC Lions. High school career Etling quarterbacked the Terre Haute South Vigo High School football team in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was poised for a big senior season after a disappointing junior year where the Braves started 3–0 before losing their final seven games. For his senior year, Etling threw for 1,505 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is an Eagle Scout. As a junior, Etling committed to Purdue University on April 17, 2012. Austin Appleby
Austin Michael Appleby (born June 4, 1993) is an American football coach and former quarterback, who is the current wide receivers coach for the UAB Blazers. He played college football at Purdue University from 2012 to 2015 for coaches Danny Hope and Darrell Hazell, before graduate transferring to the University of Florida where here he played for coach Jim McElwain in 2016 and played in the Alliance of American Football in 2019. He was a consensus 3-star high school prospect as a senior. Early years Appleby attended Hoover High School in North Canton, Ohio. While at Hoover, Appleby played three sports (baseball, basketball, and football) during his freshman and sophomore years. Rob Henry (American Football)
Robert Wayne Henry, III (born January 26, 1990) is a former American football safety. He previously played safety and quarterback for the Purdue Boilermakers. Henry attended Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, Florida, where he played both football and baseball, and competed in track & field. Henry led Trinity Catholic to two conference championships and a runner-up in the 2B State Championship game. He ended his high school football career with over 4,300 total yards and 39 touchdowns. After his senior season, he moved on to Purdue University where he redshirted in 2009. In his first collegiate appearance, Henry ran for 16-yards against Notre Dame. Darrell Hazell
Darrell Ivan Hazell (born April 14, 1964) is a former American football college and National Football League (NFL) coach. Hazell has been a head coach twice, with Kent State from 2011 to 2012, and Purdue from 2013 to 2016. A native of Cinnaminson Township, New Jersey, Hazell graduated in 1982 from Cinnaminson High School where he played football and ran track and then attended Muskingum University starting in the fall of 1982. He played on the football team as a starter for his final three years at the school. Hazell graduated in 1986. He held assistant coaching positions at Oberlin, Eastern Illinois, Penn, Western Michigan, Army, West Virginia, and Rutgers. Danny Hope
Charles Daniel Hope (born January 7, 1959) is an American football coach and former player. He served as the head football coach at Eastern Kentucky University from 2003 to 2007, and Purdue University from 2009 to 2012, compiling a career college football record of 57 wins and 49 losses. He was most recently the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the South Florida Bulls football team before stepping down after one season for family reasons. Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).
