Pavlodar ( ; ) is a city in northeastern Kazakhstan and the capital of Pavlodar Region. East Kazakhstan Region ( kk, Шығыс Қазақстан облысы, translit=Şyğys Qazaqstan oblysy; russian: Восточно-Казахстанская область, Vostochno-Kazakhstanskaya oblast) is a region of Kazakhstan.
