Murder Of Danielle Jones
The murder of Danielle Jones (16 October 1985 – c. 18 June 2001) was an English murder case where no body was found and the conviction relied upon forensic authorship analysis of text messages sent on the victim's mobile phone. Danielle Sarah Jones was last seen alive on 18 June 2001. Jones's uncle, Stuart Campbell, a builder, was convicted of abduction and murder on 19 December 2002. Campbell was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder as well as 10 years for abduction. After the trial, controversy arose when it was revealed Campbell had prior convictions for indecent assault on other girls of similar ages. The use of forensic authorship analysis of text messages in the case provoked research into its use in other cases. Danielle Jones (born 4 March 1969) is a former professional tennis player from Australia. Biography Jones comes from Melbourne and as a junior was runner-up in the girls' doubles at the 1987 Australian Open. She competed on the professional tour in the 1990s. At the 1991 Australian Open she appeared in the singles main draw as a wildcard, where she lost in the first round to Larisa Savchenko-Neiland. Her best singles performance on the WTA Tour was a quarterfinal appearance at the Taipei Women's Championship in 1993, beating Cammy MacGregor and Rachel McQuillan en route. She had a win over then-world No. 23, Amy Frazier, at Eastbourne in 1994. In doubles, she reached as high as 91 in the world in 1997 and was a semifinalist at the Auckland Open, partnering Esmé de Villiers. Danielle Jones is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Lauren Crace. The character appeared between 18 August 2008 and 3 April 2009. Danielle "Dani" Jones (born August 21, 1996) is an American middle-distance runner. She is a four-time NCAA Division I champion winning two gold medals at the 2017 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 3000-meters and Indoor Distance Medley Relay, a gold in 2018 in Cross-Country, and later won the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 5000-meters.
