Daniel Wilding
Daniel "Dan" Wilding (born 22 January 1989) is an English drummer. Biography Wilding started playing drums at the age of 10 and at the age of 16 joined his first band called Killing Mode. After Killing Mode disbanded he formed a black metal band called Misery. In 2007 Wilding joined Belgian death metal act Aborted. With them he had recorded ''Strychnine.213'', released in 2008. In 2009 he left Aborted and joined UK technical death metal band Trigger the Bloodshed. He also plays drums for melodic death metal group The Soulless and blackened death metal band The Order of Apollyon. In 2011 he has begun serving as touring drummer for German metalcore band Heaven Shall Burn. In 2012 it was announced that Wilding will also be the drummer for grindcore/death metal veterans Carcass and recorded their latest album titled ''Torn Arteries''. Sabian is a Canadian and Armenian cymbal manufacturing company established in 1981 in Meductic, New Brunswick, where it is still headquartered. Sabian is considered one of the ''big four'' manufacturers of cymbals, along with Zildjian, Meinl and Paiste. History Sabian Cymbals was founded in 1981, by Robert Zildjian, when he had a conflict with his brother Armand after he was not chosen to be the main CEO and successor of Avedis Zildjian. ''Torn Arteries'' is the seventh studio album by British death metal band Carcass. It was released on 17 September 2021. Named after a demo tape recorded by former Carcass drummer Ken Owen, this is the band's first album in eight years after its predecessor ''Surgical Steel'' (2013). It also marked the first time since 1993's ''Heartwork'' that Carcass had recorded more than one album with the same lineup – bassist and vocalist Jeff Walker, Bill Steer and drummer Daniel Wilding. The EP consists of songs recorded during the sessions for previous album ''Surgical Steel'' and was released on 11 November 2014 through Nuclear Blast. Release and promotion The band announced ''Surgical Remission/Surplus Steel'' with an entry on their official Facebook web presence on 15 September 2014. The song "Livestock Marketplace" was presented to the public as video clip shortly before the EP came out. The EP was released on 11 November 2014 in North America, 14 November in Europe and 17 November in the United Kingdom. ''Surgical Steel'' is the sixth full-length album by British death metal band Carcass. The album was released on 13 September 2013 in Europe, 16 September in the UK, and 17 September in North America, via Nuclear Blast. ''Surgical Steel'' is Carcass' first studio album since '' Swansong'' (1996), and their first to feature Dan Wilding as the replacement of original drummer Ken Owen, although the latter does provide backing vocals on the album.
