Dan Stewart (born September 27, 1963) is a Democrat who served in the Ohio House of Representatives. Life and career Stewart was born and raised on Columbus's west side. The 1974 West High School graduate resides in the Hilltop area of Columbus. Ohio House of Representatives A lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio, Stewart ran for the Ohio House of Representatives in 2002, after Republican Amy Salerno was term limited from running for another term. Stewart won handily and was seated in 2003. A voracious liberal, Stewart advocated for civil rights, workers rights, and the environment as a state representative. While a swing area, Stewart again won election to a second term in 2004. Stewart again won reelection in 2006, in a year where Democrats almost regained the majority in the House. Daniel L. Stewart (born June 30, 1962) is an American politician. He was the first openly gay elected mayor in New York state history (November 1999), taking office January 1, 2000. As mayor of Plattsburgh, he served three terms. Biography Daniel Stewart was born in East Hartford, Connecticut, and was raised in Pawtucket and Cumberland, Rhode Island. He was one of four children, including a brother Michael and sisters Cheryl and Donna. Raised in the Fairlawn section of Pawtucket and the Valley Falls section of Cumberland, he attended Nathanael Greene Elementary, Samuel Slater Junior High School, Cumberland Middle School South and Cumberland High School. Daniel Stewart (December 20, 1761 – May 27, 1829) was an American politician and Brigadier general (United States), brigadier general in the Georgia Militia. He joined the militia in 1776 and served during the American Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. Early life He was born in Liberty County, Georgia, to military officer John Stewart, Jr. (died September 6, 1776) and Susannah Bacon (died 1766). Daniel's paternal grandparents, John Stewart, Sr. (died c. 1763) and Jerusha (maiden name unknown; died 1762), were English immigrants who settled in Dorchester, South Carolina. Daniel's siblings who died young were Ann (died 1759), Mary (died 1766), and John III (died 1767). He had two elder sisters who survived, Sarah (born 1750) and Susannah (born 1758). Daniel Stewart (born 30 October 1988) is a former Australian rules football player for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Stewart played junior representative football for the Eastern Ranges before moving to AFL Queensland (AFLQ) side Labrador and then to North Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian Football League (SANFL) in 2008. He was drafted by Port Adelaide in the 2009 Rookie draft with the 35th selection and spent the 2009 season playing for North Adelaide before his promotion to Port's senior list at the end of the 2009 season. UR/A Tear In The Open
"UR" and "A Tear in the Open" are two electronic music tracks which appeared on Tiësto's second studio album in 2004, entitled ''Just Be''. Unlike Tiesto's other album from 2004, ''Parade of the Athletes'', Just Be featured only unmixed tracks. Tom Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, remixed the track "UR", The song originally features Matt Hales from Aqualung who wrote and sang the lyrics in the track and was later featured in Tiësto's '' In Search of Sunrise 4: Latin America'' compilation. The B-side from "UR" is "A Tear in the Open", which was remixed by Leama & Moor and was later included along the remix of "UR" in Just Be: Remixed which features a variety of remixes from tracks of the album, the remix album was officially released in 2006 after the remixes were compiled. Daniel "Dan" Stewart (born James "Jimmy" Lowell) is a fictional character from the soap opera, daytime soap opera ''As the World Turns''. Storylines Viewers saw Dan's beginnings as Jimmy Lowell, and watched as Ellen, a young single mother, gave up Jimmy for adoption. After Dan's adoptive mother died, his birth mother married his adoptive father, David Stewart, and mother and son were reunited. Dan was married to heroines Liz Talbot and Kim Reynolds, as well as the more villainous Susan Stewart (As the World Turns), Susan Burke. A love quadrangle with Dan, Susan, Liz and Dan's brother Paul was a cornerstone of the show's storylines for many years. The character of Dan died of a brain tumor. Stewart's Melville College (SMC) is an independent day and boarding school in Edinburgh, Scotland. Classes are all boys in the 1st to 5th years and co-educational in Sixth (final) year. It has a roll of about 750 pupils. The school is twinned with the Mary Erskine School (MES), an all-girls independent school approximately one mile (1.6 km) from Stewart's Melville College.
