Daniel Quaiser
Daniel Quaiser (born 7 June 1975 in Adliswil, Switzerland) is a Swiss designer, musician and singer (baritone). Life and career Quaiser was given his first voice, oboe and piano lessons at the Wiedikon High School in Zurich. In 1999, after having passed his school-leaving examination, he studied with Lena Hauser (voice), Martina Bovet (teaching voice), Hans Adolfsen (accompaniment) and Daniel Fueter (lied) at the Zurich University of the Arts. In 2005, he graduated with honors in Voice Education and won the first prize of the ''Werner und Berti Alter-Stiftung''. Besides, he was given an appointment to teach in the conservatory of Zurich. With Scot Weir (voice), Paul Suits (accompaniment) and Martin Zeller (chamber music), Quaiser continued studying voice at the Zurich University of the Arts. In 2007, he graduated in Concert Singing. Wolfgang Holzmair (born 1952 in Vöcklabruck) is an Austrian baritone. Holzmair studied at the Vienna Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He won 2nd prize in the baritone class of the 's-Hertogenbosch International Vocal Competition in 1981, and a year later 1st prize in the Musikverein International Lieder Competition, Vienna. Opera Holzmair spent about six years with opera companies in Bern ( Bern Theatre) and Gelsenkirchen (Musiktheater im Revier) before successes in Udo Zimmermann's ''The White Rose'' and Claude Debussy's '' Pelléas et Mélisande'' brought him to general attention. Rothrist
Rothrist is a municipality in the district of Zofingen in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. History Originally an Alamanni settlement, the modern village of Rothrist is first mentioned in 1263 as ''Routris''. Oliver Widmer (born 24 March 1965) is a Swiss operatic bass-baritone whose international career has encompassed lieder, opera, and oratorio. In 1998 he created the role of Jäger in Heinz Holliger's opera ''Schneewittchen (opera), Schneewittchen''. Widmer was born in Zürich and studied first under his father, the baritone Kurt Widmer, at the City of Basel Music Academy.
