Daniel Petkovski (Macedonian: Даниел Петковски) (born 6 June 1993 in Sydney) is an Australian football (soccer) player. Club career Sydney FC Petkovski joined Sydney FC's National Youth League team in 2011 after being signed from New South Wales Premier League club Marconi Stallions. At the end of the 2011–12 A-League season, the promising left-back was signed to a 2-year deal with Sydney FC along with fellow youth players Mitchell Mallia and Hagi Gligor. Petkovski made his Sydney FC debut as a 75th-minute substitute for Fabio against cross-town rivals Western Sydney Wanderers FC in the first ever Sydney Derby which Sydney FC won 1–0, followed by two more appearances in his debut season against Central Coast Mariners and Perth Glory. Sydney FC Youth
Sydney Football Club Youth is the youth system of Sydney Football Club based in Moore Park, Sydney, Australia. The team referred to as Sydney Youth play in the Y-League (November to February) and consists of u23 players, the highest level of youth soccer in Australia. The club also competes in the National Premier Leagues NSW (March to August), the top competition of Football in NSW, however this team is known as Sydney U21, and is not to be confused with Sydney Youth which is a completely different team, involving different team selection and age group. Central Coast Mariners Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. 2012–13 A-League
The 2012–13 A-League was the 36th season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the eighth season of the Australian A-League since its establishment in 2004. The 2012–13 season saw the introduction of a new Western Sydney-based team, the return of Newcastle Jets FC after their A-League licence was returned by FFA, and the end of Gold Coast United after they were removed from the competition at the end of the previous season. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. The 2020 National Premier Leagues was the eighth season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. The league competition was played by eight separate state and territory member federations, namely the ACT, NSW, Northern NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.
