Daniel Jérent
Daniel Jérent (born 4 June 1991) is a French Épée fencer, team world champion in 2014. He was banned from the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo due to a positive urine test for a banned product, after he had otherwise qualified to fence in the individual and team epee events at the Olympics. Career Jérent was born in Guadeloupe, and learnt fencing in Pointe-Noire before joining the centre for promising young fencers in Reims and transferring to Lagardère Paris Racing. He earned a team gold medal at the 2008 Cadets European Championships in Rovigo, and a team bronze medal at the 2011 Junior World Championships at the Dead Sea. He was also French junior champion in 2010 and 2011. Jérent began fencing in the senior category from the 2009–10 season, reaching the table of 16 at the 2010 Tallinn World Cup. Gauthier Grumier
Gauthier Grumier (born 29 May 1984, in Nevers) is a French left-handed épée fencer. Grumier is a three-time team European champion, 2015 individual European champion, and five-time team world champion. A two-time Olympian, Grumier is a 2016 team Olympic champion and 2016 individual Olympic bronze medalist. Career Grumier won the gold medal in the épée team event at the 2006 World Fencing Championships after beating Spain in the final. He accomplished this with his teammates Érik Boisse, Ulrich Robeiri and Fabrice Jeannet. He was also part of the French teams that won in 2010, 2011 and 2014. He won the silver medal in the individual épée event at the 2010 World Fencing Championships and at the 2015 World Fencing Championships. Reims
Reims ( , , ; also spelled Rheims in English) is the most populous city in the French department of Marne, and the 12th most populous city in France.
