Daniel Engelbrecht
Daniel Engelbrecht (born 5 November 1990) is a German retired professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career On 20 July 2013, while playing his second game of the 2014–15 season for the Stuttgarter Kickers against Rot-Weiß Erfurt, Engelbrecht suddenly collapsed on the pitch due to a sudden heart attack. He was later diagnosed with myocarditis and chronic heart rhythm disorders. After four operations to the heart, including one where a defibrillator was implanted and a waiting period of 17 months, Engelbrecht returned to the pitch on 15 November 2014. He is the first professional football player to play with an implanted defibrillator in Germany. On 6 December 2014, Daniel Engelbrecht shot the winning goal against SV Wehen Wiesbaden in the 91st minute, thereby becoming the only professional footballer to score a goal with such a handicap. The 2015–16 Regionalliga was the eighth season of the Regionalliga, the fourth under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. The champions of Regionalliga Nord – SV Werder Bremen II, the champions of the Regionalliga Nordost – 1. FC Magdeburg, and the champions of Regionalliga Bayern – Würzburger Kickers were promoted to the 3. Liga. Borussia Dortmund II, SpVgg Unterhaching and SSV Jahn Regensburg were relegated from 3. Liga. Oberliga Baden-Württemberg
The Oberliga Baden-Württemberg is the highest association football league in the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Baden-Württemberg football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. Regionalliga West
The Regionalliga West is a German semi-professional football division administered by the Western German Football Association based in Duisburg. It is one of the five German regional football associations. Being the single flight of the Western German state association, the Regionalliga is currently a level 4 division of the German football league system. It is one of five leagues at this level, together with the Regionalliga Bayern, Regionalliga Nordost, Regionalliga Nord and the Regionalliga Südwest. The three division format administrated by the German FA has been replaced by five leagues, each of which is administrated by its respective regional FA. The Nordrhein-Westfalen-Liga (''North Rhine-Westphalia League''; NRW-Liga) was the highest football league in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) from 2008 to 2012. It was one of the eleven Oberliga groups in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. With the reorganisation of the German league system in 2012, the NRW-Liga was disbanded once more as the Regionalliga West above it would then only contain clubs from North Rhine-Westphalia. The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. It is considered the second-most important club title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. Taking place from August until May, the winner qualifies for the DFL-Supercup and the UEFA Europa League unless the winner already qualifies for the UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga. The competition was founded in 1935, then called the '' Tschammer-Pokal''. The first titleholders were 1. FC Nürnberg. In 1937, Schalke 04 were the first team to win the double.
