Daniel Cammish
Daniel Cammish (born 10 April 1989) is a British racing driver currently competing in a Ford Focus for Motorbase Performance, NAPA Racing UK in the British Touring Car Championship. Early life Cammish was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire. He attended The Morley Academy, Morley High School. Racing career Cammish made his karting debut in 2003, driving in the Manchester & Buxton Kart Club Junior Rotax Championship, in which he finished 20th. He raced in the Kartmasters British Grand Prix Super Libre, Super 1 National Formula A Championship and Super 1 National Rotax Max Championship before graduating to car racing in 2009, where he won the British Formula Ford Championship, Formula Ford Scholarship class and competed in the ADAC Formel Masters. In 2012, he suffered a broken pelvis in a high-speed accident during a race in Spain. Autosport International
Autosport International is a four-day motorsport event that includes a two-day trade show for industry professionals and a two-day public show. It is held at the National Exhibition Centre, NEC, in Birmingham, United Kingdom and operated by Motorsport Network, usually in the second week of January. The 2023 show will be held on 12 - 15 January. It typically has 32,000 trade visitors and 63,000 public visitors, 5,000 of whom are from overseas and 80% of whom are male. British Formula Ford Championship
The British Formula Ford Championship was an entry level single seater motor racing category, designed to give racing drivers their first step into car racing after karting. Drivers from around the world were attracted to the United Kingdom to compete in the series, and successful Formula One drivers such as Ayrton Senna and Jenson Button won their first single-seater titles in the championship. The championship was run to various Formula Ford regulations over the years, based on the engines provided for the championship by Ford Motor Company. These engine based regulations/specifications include the Ford Kent engine, Ford Zetec engine, Ford Duratec engine and in the final years the Ford EcoBoost engine. The 2010 British Formula Ford Championship was the 35th edition of the British Formula Ford Championship. 2016 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup
The 2016 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup was the sixth season of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. The season started on 24 April at Monza and ended on 18 September at the Nürburgring. The season featured five rounds, with each race lasting for a duration of three hours besides the 24 Hours of Spa and the 1000 km Paul Ricard events. ADAC Formel Masters
ADAC Formel Masters was an ADAC sanctioned open wheel racing series based in Germany, held annually from 2008 to 2014. It was replacement of the local Formula BMW championship. The first season was in 2008 and is the main feeder series to the ATS Formula 3 Cup (German Formula Three Championship). Like Formula Ford, French F4 Championship and Formula Abarth, the Formel Masters is aimed at karting graduates. In 2015 it was replaced by the ADAC Formula 4. Race weekend A race weekend features one 45-minute practice session on Friday, and one 30-minute qualifying session on the same day, followed by three races. The qualifying session is a straight fight for the fastest laptime, and determines the order of the grids for Races 1 & 2. Race 3 is on Sunday. The grid is decided by the Race 2 result with top 8 being reversed, so the driver who finished 8th on Saturday will start from pole position and the winner will start from 8th place.
