Danger Crue Records
Danger Crue Records is a Japanese visual kei independent record label located in Tokyo, Japan. It was originally the record label of the Danger Crue music office, both founded in 1981. According to D'erlanger drummer Tetsu, Danger Crue was formed for the heavy metal band 44Magnum. The first release by Danger Crue was the album ''Insane'' by Reaction in July 1985. In April 2000, the office changed its name to the Maverick D.C. Group but continues to run the Danger Crue Records label. In 2002, Maverick D.C. held a concert to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Danger Crue. It has since become an annual year-end event under the name Jack in the Box since 2007; derived from the nickname of Maverick D.C. president Masahiro Oishi. On December 27, 2021, Jack in the Box celebrated Danger Crue's 40th anniversary at the Nippon Budokan. Dead End (stylized as DEAD END) is a Japanese heavy metal/ hard rock band formed in Tokyo in 1984. They were one of few Japanese metal bands who had international exposure in the United States during the eighties. Originally dissolved in 1990, Dead End reunited in 2009 after almost two decades. They have been inactive since 2015, and guitarist and main composer You died in June 2020. Zoro (band)
Zoro (stylized as ZORO) was a Japanese Visual Kei rock band formed in January 2007. Though they were originally a four-piece band for four years, as of 2011, the band is a duo consisting of vocalist Ryuuji and bassist Tatsuhi. History Vocalist Ryuuji, bassist Tatsuhi, and drummer Yuuya were previously part of a band called Soroban. After Soroban disbanded, the three went on to form the band Zoro in January 2007. Their first performance was at Liquidroom Ebisu on March 5, 2007, although they did not have a drummer. Taizo later joined Zoro in June 2007 after the disbandment of his previous band, Mouse. SID (band)
is a Japanese visual kei Rock music, rock band, formed in 2003 and signed to Sony Records. Background SID (シド) was founded in 2003 by vocalist Mao (ex-Shula) and bassist Aki (ex-Ram Rem). They were joined by two support members, guitarist Shinji (ex-Uranus) and drummer Yuuya (ex-Shula). The four of them released the band's first demo CD, ''Yoshigai Manabu 17-sai (Mushoku)'' (吉開学 17歳 (無職)), on mini-disc that August and soon after, they signed on with Danger Crue Records. Though SID technically began in 2003, the band considers January 14, 2004 the date of their 'birth' as it was announced at their show at the Meguro Rock May Kan that Shinji and Yuuya would be joining as official members. Petit Brabancon (band)
Petit Brabancon is a Japanese supergroup, active since 2021. It consists of vocalist Kyo (Dir en grey), drummer yukihiro (L'Arc-en-Ciel), guitarists Miya (Mucc) and antz ( Tokyo Shoegazer), and bassist Hirofumi Takamatsu ( The Novembers). Having been secretly writing and recording music since 2018, the band was not publicly unveiled until December 2021. History A big fan of yukihiro since his days in Zi:Kill, Dir en grey vocalist Kyo approached the drummer about working together four or five years previously. With Kyo not interested in duos, they set out to recruit a five-member band. Mucc
is a Japanese visual kei rock band, formed in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1997. The classic line up of Tatsuro on vocals, Miya on guitar, Yukke on bass, and Satochi on drums was solidified in 1999 following the departure of original bassist Hiro. After 24 years, Satochi retired from the music business in October 2021, leaving Mucc a trio. They have released 16 studio albums, with 2020's '' Aku'' being their highest-charting. Sakura (musician)
, known by his stage name Sakura, is a Japanese musician. He is perhaps best known as former drummer of the rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel from 1993 to 1997. After leaving them he formed the supergroup Zigzo, the trio Sons of All Pussys, and his solo project Lion Heads. Ken (born November 28, 1968 in Maibara, Shiga, Japan) is a musician and singer-songwriter, best known as guitarist of the Japanese rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel. He is also the leader, vocalist and guitarist of Sons of All Pussys (also known as S.O.A.P.) and has released a solo album entitled ''In Physical''. Girugamesh
is a Japanese rock band, formed in 2003. Their name is sometimes stylized with a metal umlaut as girugämesh and is derived from the ''Final Fantasy'' character. Earthshaker (band)
is a Japanese heavy metal band that was formed in 1978 in Osaka. One of the first Japanese metal bands, they steered toward a poppier sound on later albums and dropped from worldwide view, preferring to record and tour in their home country. After a successful run, they broke up in 1994, but returned five years later and remain active. The quintet from the nineties is still together.
