Dancing With The Stars (Irish Series 2)
''Dancing with the Stars'' returned for a second series on 7 January 2018 on RTÉ One. Loraine Barry, Brian Redmond and Julian Benson returned to the judging panel for a second year, while Amanda Byram and Nicky Byrne also returned as hosts. Sean Smullen did not return for this series, however all other professional dancers did. Sean was replaced by former ''Dancing with the Stars: Taniec z gwiazdami'' professional champion, Robert Rowiński. The competition was won by Jake Carter alongside professional partner Karen Byrne. On 25 March 2018, RTÉ announced that it would return for a third series in 2019. Couples On 3 December 2017, it was confirmed that Deirdre O'Kane would compete in the series. Jake Carter (born Jacob Carter; 11 August 1998) is a singer and the winner of series 2 of the Irish television dance competition ''Dancing with the Stars''. He is the younger brother of country music singer Nathan Carter. Valeria Milova (born 13 March 1988) is an Estonian dancer and Choreography (dance), choreographer. Maïa Conchita Dunphy is an Irish television producer, broadcaster and writer. Early life Dunphy grew up in Dalkey, County Dublin. Giulia Dotta (born 31 January 1992) is an Italian dancer and choreographer. She started dancing from an early age specialising in latin and ballroom dance and has had competition experience at both national and international levels. Tomás O'Leary
Tomás O'Leary (born 22 October 1983) is an Irish former rugby union player who played as a scrum-half. O'Leary played most of his career in the United Rugby Championship with Munster, where he was part of the team that won the Heineken Cup in 2006 and again in 2008. He also played in the English Premiership with London Irish, and the Top 14 with Montpellier. Norah Casey (born 28 May 1960) is an Irish businesswoman, magazine publisher, television personality and broadcaster from Dublin, Ireland.
