Curtis Pritchard (born 8 February 1996) is an English dancer and Choreography (dance), choreographer, known for his role as a professional dancer on the Irish version of ''Dancing with the Stars (Irish TV series), Dancing with the Stars''. In 2019, Pritchard appeared in the Love Island (2015 TV series, series 5), fifth series of the British dating reality series ''Love Island (2015 TV series), Love Island'', finishing in fourth place. Pasodoble (Spanish: ''double step'') is a fast-paced Spanish military march used by infantry troops. Its speed allowed troops to give 120 steps per minute (double the average of a regular unit, hence its name). This military march gave rise recently to a modern Spanish dance, a musical genre including both voice and instruments, and a genre of instrumental music often played during bullfight. Both the dance and the non martial compositions are also called pasodoble. Structure All pasodobles have binary rhythm. Origin Although Springtown, Tennessee, has a small monument outside an old mill claiming the song was written by a local "George Johnson", in 1864, for his Maggie, the truth is that its lyrics were written as a poem by the Canadian school teacher George Washington Johnson from Hamilton, Ontario. Margaret "Maggie" Clark, three years his junior, was his pupil.
