Dancing With The Stars (U.S. Season 15)
Season fifteen of ''Dancing with the Stars'', called ''Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars'', premiered on September 24, 2012, on the ABC network. Season 15 was the first to feature an "all-star" cast of returning celebrities. Six of the returning finalists had already won the title in prior seasons: Kelly Monaco, Drew Lachey, Emmitt Smith, Apolo Anton Ohno, Hélio Castroneves, and Shawn Johnson. Additionally, it was the only season to date to offer fractional (0.5) scores. Five contestants reunited with their original partners, while the other eight danced with new partners. Season 8 finalist Melissa Rycroft defeated season 8 champion Shawn Johnson and season 1 champion Kelly Monaco to win the trophy. This also marked the first win for professional Tony Dovolani. Thomas Raymond Bergeron (born May 6, 1955) is an American television personality, game show host, comedian and actor, best known for hosting ''Hollywood Squares'' from 1998 to 2004, ''America's Funniest Home Videos'' from 2001 to 2015, and ''Dancing with the Stars'' from 2005 to 2019. Season two of ''Dancing with the Stars'' premiered on January 6, 2006, on the ABC network. This season expanded each episode from an hour to 90 minutes, and added an hour-long results show the following night. Season four of ''Dancing with the Stars'' premiered on March 19, 2007, on the ABC network. To avoid direct competition with Fox's ''American Idol'', ''Dancing with the Stars'' changed time slots from the previous season. This season, the performance show aired on Mondays and the results show aired on Tuesdays. No elimination took place the first week in order to allow viewers two weeks to see all of the couples perform both Latin and ballroom dances. This season was broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom on Sunday afternoons. Oksana (Dmytrenko) Platero ( ua, Оксана Дмитренко) is a Ukrainian ballroom and Latin dancer. She spent five seasons as a member of the troupe on Dancing with the Stars in the United States.
