Dan Doyle (Oregon Politician)
Dan Doyle is a former Republican state legislator and attorney from the U.S. state of Oregon. He represented Salem and served as co-chair of the Oregon Joint Ways and Means Committee. He resigned from the House on January 31, 2005, and later pleaded guilty to falsifying reports relating to campaign finance. Oregon House Of Representatives
The Oregon House of Representatives is the lower house of the Oregon Legislative Assembly. There are 60 members of the House, representing 60 districts across the state, each with a population of 65,000. The House meets in the west wing of the Oregon State Capitol in Salem. The Oregon State Bar Association (OSBA) is a public corporation and instrumentality of the Oregon Judicial Department in the U.S. state of Oregon. Founded in 1890 as the private Oregon Bar Association, it became a public entity in 1935 that regulates the legal profession. The public corporation is part of the Oregon Judicial Department. Lawyers are required to join the OSB in order to practice law in Oregon, unless an exception applies. The OSBA is charged with administering lawyer admissions and discipline, pursuant to rules promulgated by the Oregon Supreme Court.
