Damage Control (TV Series)
''Damage Control'' is a reality TV series produced by MTV. Hosted by lead vocalist of Canadian music group Simple Plan Pierre Bouvier, and directed by Sebastian Doggart, the show was a real-life version of the movie ''Risky Business.'' It first aired on MTV on March 6, 2005. The last episode was broadcast on April 24, 2005. Premise Each episode begins with parents telling their teenage son or daughter that they are going away for the weekend. What the teenager does not know is that their parents actually hide out with Bouvier a short distance from their home. Using secret cameras and an insider friend of the teenager, the parents and Bouvier watch the teen's every move. Parents can win money by correctly predicting the next action their child will take. At the end of the weekend, the parents return home as promised. The teen can then win money by confessing to their parents about the events that took place. Sunday Stew was a block of programming aired on Sunday nights between 9-11 p.m. where MTV showed new episodes of their comedic programs targeted towards younger college-aged men. Like MTV2, the Stew showed short films before and after a show. The branding was discontinued on television in December 2005. Viva La Bam
''Viva La Bam'' is an American reality television series that stars Bam Margera and his friends and family. The show is a spin-off from MTV's '' Jackass'', in which Margera and most of the main cast appeared. Each episode had a specific theme, mission, or challenge which was accomplished by performing pranks, skateboarding, and enlisting the help of friends, relatives, and/or experts. ''Pimp My Ride'' is an American television series produced by MTV and hosted by rapper Xzibit, which ran for six seasons on MTV from 2004 to 2007. In each episode, a car in poor condition is both restored and customized. The work on the show was done by West Coast Customs until season 5 when Galpin Auto Sports took over. ''Punk'd'' is an American hidden camera–practical joke reality television series that first aired on MTV in 2003. It was created by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, with Kutcher serving as producer and host.
