Dalmatian Action
Dalmatian Action (''Dalmatinska akcija'' or DA) was a 1990s regionalist and autonomist party in the region of Dalmatia within Croatia, that advocated for the political autonomy of Dalmatia within Croatia, including the creation of a Dalmatian regional government with a legislative assembly, with autonomy over cultural issues involving Dalmatia. Slobodna Dalmacija
''Slobodna Dalmacija'' () is a Croatian daily newspaper published in Split. The first issue of ''Slobodna Dalmacija'' was published on 17 June 1943 by Tito's Partisans in an abandoned stone barn on Mosor, a mountain near Split, while the city was occupied by the Italian army. The paper was later published in various locations until Split was liberated on 26 October 1944. From the following day onward, ''Slobodna Dalmacija'' has been published in Split. Although it was originally viewed as a strictly Dalmatian regional newspaper, during the following decades ''Slobodna Dalmacija'', grew into one of the largest and most widely read daily newspapers of Yugoslavia, with its circulation reaching a zenith in the late 1980s. Dalmatian Action (''Dalmatinska akcija'' or DA) is a regionalist and autonomist party in the region of Dalmatia within Croatia, that advocates for the political autonomy of Dalmatia within Croatia. History It was founded in December 2021, by former members of Social Democratic Party of Croatia after disagreements with other members in local organization in Split, Croatia. The party was founded by Tomislav Matijašević and Nino Aviani, and Teo Krnić was appointed secretary. In the last intra-party elections, Aviani ran for president of the Split SDP, but was excluded from the election process because he did not submit a declaration of non-punishment, so his candidacy was declared invalid due to incomplete documentation. The Autonomist Party ( it, Partito Autonomista; hr, Autonomaška stranka) was an Italian-Dalmatianist political party in the Dalmatian political scene, that existed for around 70 years of the 19th century and until World War I. Parliamentary elections were held in Croatia on 3 January 2000 to elect members of the Chamber of Representative. They were the first elections to be held after the expiration of a full four-year term of the previous Chamber of Representatives.
