Daimí Ramírez
Daymi de La Caridad Ramirez Echevarria (born 8 October 1983) is a Cuban volleyball player who competed in the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics. In 2004, she was a member of the Cuban team which won the bronze medal in the Olympic tournament. Four years later she finished fourth with the Cuban team in the 2008 Olympic tournament. She was born in Havana. Volleyball At The 2008 Summer Olympics – Women's Tournament
The women's tournament in volleyball at the 2008 Summer Olympics was held at Capital Indoor Stadium and Beijing Institute of Technology Gymnasium from 9 to 23 August 2008. The twelve competing teams were split equally into two pools of six teams. Each team played all other teams in their pool with the winning team gaining 2 points and the losing side 1 point. The top four teams from each pool progressed through to the quarterfinals. The rest of the tournament was a single-elimination bracket, with a bronze medal match held between the two semifinal losers. A total of 38 matches were played: 15 in each group, 4 quarterfinals, 2 semifinals, 1 bronze medal match, and 1 gold medal match. 2008 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix
The FIVB World Grand Prix 2008 was a women's volleyball tournament in which 12 countries competed from 20 June to 12 July 2008. The finals were held in Yokohama Arena, Yokohama, Japan. Cuba, Brazil, Dominican Republic and the United States qualified for the tournament at the 2007 Women's Pan-American Cup in Colima, Mexico. Germany, Turkey, Italy, and Poland qualified through the European Qualifying Tournament in Ankara, Turkey. China, Japan, Thailand, and Kazakhstan qualified as the best four Asian teams. The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was an annual women's volleyball competition created in 1993. The men's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World League, World League. Tatiana Sergeyevna Kosheleva (''russian: Татья́на Серге́евна Ко́шелева'', born 23 December 1988) is a Russian volleyball player. She was a member of the Russia women's national volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 2010 World Championship, the 2013 European Championship and the 2015 European Championship. Career Club At club level, she played for Dinamo Moscow, Zarechie Odintsovo, Dinamo Kazan and Dinamo Krasnodar before joining Eczacıbaşı VitrA in 2016. Kosheleva led Dinamo Krasnodar with 37 points in the final match to win the 2014–15 CEV Cup gold medal and the Most Valuable Player award. She scored 245 points leading all scorers in the six 2014/15 European Cups. Taismary Agüero Leiva (born March 5, 1977) is a Cuban-born Italian volleyball player. She is the only player to represent two women's volleyball national team to win Major titles (1995 FIVB World Cup, 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, 1998 FIVB World Championship, 1999 FIVB World Cup and 2000 Sydney Olympic Games for Cuba; 2007 FIVB World Cup for Italy). Life Born in Yaguajay in the province of Sancti Spiritus, when she began to play volleyball when she was eight years old. Two years later, she entered in the Cerro Pelado Training Center in Havana. 2017 Women's South American Volleyball Club Championship
The 2017 Women's South American Volleyball Club Championship was the ninth official edition of the women's volleyball tournament, played by six teams from 14–18 February 2017 in Uberaba and Uberlândia, Brazil. Rio de Janeiro won its third consecutive title, the fourth overall, and qualified for the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship in Kobe, Japan. Igtisadchi Baku
Igtisadchi Baku is an Azerbaijani women's volleyball club. History Igtisadchi Baku was founded in the Summer of 2008 and immediately got the right to participate in the Azerbaijan Super League, qualifying after just one season to the CEV Women's Challenge Cup. The following season saw Igtisadchi Baku eliminated in the second round table of European competition, because of the deployment of an ineligible player in the qualification to the Challenge Cup. In the season 2009-2010, the club achieved third place in the championship, beating the Azerrail Baku and qualifying for the third consecutive season in the Challenge Cup. In the season 2012-2013, the club participated in the Women's CEV Volleyball Cup, being eliminated in the 8th final round of the competition.
