Dag Sjøberg
Dag I.K. Sjøberg (born 24 January 1961) is a Norwegian computer scientist, software engineer, and politician. He is a professor of software engineering at the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo. From 2001 to 2008 he was Research Director at Simula Research Laboratory and headed the Department of Software Engineering. Life Sjøberg took his master's degree in Computer Science (cand.scient.) at the University of Oslo in 1987, and a doctorate (PhD) in Computing Science at the University of Glasgow in 1993. In 1999, Sjøberg established the research group Industrial System Development (ISU) at the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo. Simula Research Laboratory (also known as Simula) is a Norwegian non-profit research organisation located in Oslo, Norway. Simula was founded in 2001 by the Norwegian government to conduct fundamental, long-term research within information and communication technology (ICT). Aslak Tveito (born 17 February 1961) is a Norwegian scientist in the field of numerical analysis and scientific computing. Tveito is the Managing Director of the Simula Research Laboratory, a Norwegian research center owned by the Norwegian Government, and is Professor of Scientific Computing at the University of Oslo. Education and career Tveito obtained an MSc degree in Numerical Analysis from the University of Oslo, Department of Informatics in 1985. He obtained PhD from the same department in 1988, focusing on numerical solution of partial differential equations. Nordstrand () is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. It borders Gamle Oslo in the north, Østensjø in the east and Søndre Nordstrand in the south. The borough is located in the southern part of the city and with a population of 52,459 people as of 2020. Tore Dybå (born 31 July 1961) is a Norwegian scientist and software engineer in the fields of information systems and computer science. He has been a Chief Scientist at SINTEF ICT since 2003. Career Dybå received his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1987. In 2001 he received his Doctoral degree (PhD) in Computer and Information Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Magne Jørgensen (born 10 October 1964) is a Norwegian scientist and software engineer in the field of scientific computing. Jørgensen is chief research scientist at Simula Research Laboratory and is involved in the Research Group for Programming and Software Engineering as professor at the Department for Informatics at the University of Oslo.
