Daegu International Opera Festival (DIOF) is a festival that is held in Daegu, South Korea. The festival takes place in mid October. However, the 16th DIOF commenced in September. Daegu (, , literally 'large hill', 대구광역시), formerly spelled Taegu and officially known as the Daegu Metropolitan City, is a city in South Korea.
