DJ Falcon
Stéphane Quême (), (born January 2, 1973), known as DJ Falcon, is a French DJ, record producer and photographer. He is the brother of Delphine Quême (Quartet) and a cousin of Alan Braxe (Alain Quême). Career In 1999, Falcon released his first EP on Roulé, Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk's music label. Before producing on Roulé, he worked in the A&R department at Virgin. Following the release of his EP, he worked with Bangalter to form the group Together, officially releasing two songs " So Much Love to Give" and " Together." He has done a significant number of remixes and DJ sets since. In 2013, he was featured on Daft Punk's fourth studio album, '' Random Access Memories'' on the final track "Contact." The song was based on a sample Falcon and Bangalter had originally used and performed while doing DJ sets as Together. "So Much Love to Give" is a 2002 single released by French house duo Together, consisting of Thomas Bangalter and DJ Falcon. It experienced widespread success in 2005 when sampled by British duo Freeloaders. The 12-inch single was released without a B-side. The song contains a sample of "Love's Such a Wonderful Thing" by The Real Thing. Together used the caption repeatedly throughout the song rather than being a one-liner as in the case of the Real Thing song. Jungle is a British electronic music project founded in 2013 by producers Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland. Jungle have released three studio albums. 2014's ''Jungle'' was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize that year. Their second album was 2018's '' For Ever'' through XL Recordings, while their third album, ''Loving in Stereo'', was released on 13 August 2021 via Caiola Records. The group is based in London. Background Jungle was founded by Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland. The pair had been friends since they were nine years old, where they lived next door to each other in Shepherd's Bush, London. Hot Chip are an English synthpop band formed in London in 1995. The group consists of multi-instrumentalists Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard, Al Doyle, Owen Clarke, and Felix Martin. They are occasionally joined by former member Rob Smoughton for live performances and studio recordings. The group primarily produces music in the synth-pop and alternative dance genres, drawing influences from house and disco. Hot Chip began as a bedroom recording project for Taylor and Goddard, who met while students at Elliott School, Putney; their earliest lineup included Smoughton as their drummer. Alain Macklovitch (born March 30, 1982), known by his stage name A-Trak, is a Canadian DJ, record producer, and record executive. He came to prominence in the late 2000s as an international club DJ and remix artist, known for incorporating highly technical turntable skills and scratching into his genre-spanning work. He is also president of the record label Fool's Gold, which was founded in 2007, and is credited for developing the careers of artists such as Kid Cudi, Danny Brown, and Flosstradamus. Alexis Latrobe (), known professionally as Alex Gopher, is a French mastering engineer, electronic musician and producer. He worked as a sound engineer at Translab Studio, notably for Angèle, Clara Luciani, Lomepal, -M-, Mr. Oizo, Gesaffelstein and Etienne Daho. Latrobe has contributed a great amount to the French touch movement of the 1990s. Career Latrobe began his musical career playing bass in the band Orange with future Air members Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin. Justice is a French electronic music duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. The duo's label is Ed Banger Records, managed by Pedro Winter. Justice is known for incorporating a strong rock influence into their music and image. The band's debut album ''Cross'' was released in June 2007 to critical acclaim. The album was later nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album and came in at number 15 on Pitchfork's ''Top 50 Albums of 2007'' and number 18 on Blender's "25 Best Albums of 2007" list.
