Docosahexaenoic Acid
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an omega-3 fatty acid that is a primary structural component of the human brain, cerebral cortex, skin, and retina. In physiological literature, it is given the name 22:6(n-3). It can be synthesized from alpha-linolenic acid or obtained directly from maternal milk (breast milk), fatty fish, fish oil, or algae oil. DHA's structure is a carboxylic acid (-''oic acid'') with a 22- carbon chain (''docosa-'' derives from the Ancient Greek for 22) and six (''hexa-'') '' cis'' double bonds (''-en-''); with the first double bond located at the third carbon from the omega end. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) is a United Nations (UN) body established in December 1991 by the General Assembly to strengthen the international response to complex emergencies and natural disasters. It is the successor to the Office of the United Nations Disaster Relief Coordinator (UNDRO). The Department of Humanitarian Affairs (DHA) was established shortly thereafter by the Secretary-General, but in 1998 was merged into OCHA, which became the UN's main focal point on major disasters. A directory harvest attack (DHA) is a technique used by spammers in an attempt to find valid/existent e-mail addresses at a domain by using brute force. The attack is usually carried out by way of a standard dictionary attack, where valid e-mail addresses are found by brute force guessing valid e-mail addresses at a domain using different permutations of common usernames. These attacks are more effective for finding e-mail addresses of companies since they are likely to have a standard format for official e-mail aliases (i.e. jdoe@example.domain, johnd@example.domain, or johndoe@example.domain). Dha (; also spelled ''dah'') is the Burmese word for "knife" and "sword" similar term to daab or darb ( th, ดาบ) in Thai language for a single edge sword. The term dha is conventionally used to refer to a wide variety of knives and swords used by many people across Southeast Asia, especially present-day Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Yunnan, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Origins The broad use and diffusion of the dha across Southeast Asia makes it difficult to attribute a definitive origin. The dha may have its origins with the Tai people who migrated to the area from present-day Yunnan Province in southern China. Dhahran ( ar, الظهران, ''Al-Dhahran'') is a city located in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. With a total population of 240,742 as of 2021, it is a major administrative center for the Saudi oil industry. Dah (or Dha, Da; ) is a panchayat village in the Leh district of Ladakh, India. It is the most prominent of all the Brokpa settlements, other than Dah, it has five hamlets: Byema, Baldes, Sanid, Pardos, and Lastiang. It is located in lower Indus valley of Ladakh in the Khalsi tehsil. Geography The village and the hamlets are built into the side of a high mountain wall and are situated on a slope above the fields. The alleys are used as irrigation canals, with water flowing into the fields on a regular basis.The hamlets, which are an extension of the Dah village are sparsely populated.They are located between or near cultivated fields strewn with fruit trees, which are especially concentrated near the stream and water canals.
