Dömötör-Kolompár Criminal Organization
The Dömötör-Kolompár criminal organization was a Canadian human trafficking ring that was dismantled. This crime family from Pápa, Hungary moved to Canada ''en masse'' and applied for refugee status. The organization was composed of an extended Romani family, and they settled in Hamilton, Ontario. They lured up to 19 people from Pápa to Hamilton starting in 2008 and then used them as unfree labour, forcing them to do construction work without paying them. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police issued approximately 60 charges against members of the organization. Ferenc Dömötör, the leader of the organization, was arrested on October 9, 2010, and charged with fraud and human trafficking. Nine members pleaded guilty to charges of human trafficking, and 17 members were convicted of related offences. Dörmögő Dömötör
Dörmögő Dömötör ''(lit. Brumming Demetrius)'' is a fictional bear, created by Hungarian novelist Zsigmond Sebők in 1902 and comparable to Winnie the Pooh. ''Dörmögő Dömötör'' is also a children's magazine established in 1957 by state-owned ''Ifjúsági Lapkiadó''. The magazine's mascot is the aforementioned bear, but it presents many different kind of stories, comics, puzzles, and others not related to the bear. Louis Albert Domotor (born March 11, 1943) is a farmer and former political figure in Saskatchewan, Canada. He represented Humboldt from 1982 to 1986 in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Progressive Conservative. He was born in Cudworth, Saskatchewan, the son of Frank Domotor. In 1965, he married Ann Sharon Christiaens. Domotor served in the Saskatchewan cabinet as Minister of Rural Development. Zoltán Dömötör
Zoltán Dömötör (21 August 1935 – 20 November 2019) was a Hungarian swimmer and water polo player who competed in the 1960 Summer Olympics, in the 1964 Summer Olympics, and in the 1968 Summer Olympics. He was born in Budapest. Dömötör was part of the Hungarian water polo team which won the bronze medal in the 1960 tournament. He played six matches and scored nine goals. Four years later he was a member of the Hungarian team which won the gold medal in the 1964 Olympic tournament. He played all six matches and scored seven goals.
