Dániel Gazdag (born 2 March 1996) is a Hungarian professional association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer and the Hungary national football team, Hungary national team. Club career Philadelphia In May 2021, Gazdag was signed by the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. His two-year contract includes a club option for a third and fourth year for an undisclosed transfer fee, reportedly around $1.8 million. On 23 May, he made his Union debut as a substitute in a 1–0 victory at D.C. United. He scored 4 goals in the 2021 season. On 23 July 2022, Gazdag scored his tenth goal of the season for Philadelphia Union, which cemented his status as the Union's top scorer. On 27 August 2022, he scored his first career hat trick in the Union’s match against the Colorado Rapids, reaching his sixteenth goal of the MLS season. The 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, also known as NB I, is the 118th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league is officially named ''OTP Bank Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The 2015–16 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, also known as NB I, is the 117th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league is officially named ''OTP Bank Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The season began 17 July 2015 and will conclude on 8 May 2016. Videoton are the defending champions having won their second Hungarian championship last season. Last season an extra four teams were relegated to the Nemzeti Bajnokság III. Győr had financial and licensing issues. Kecskemét, Pécs and Nyíregyháza all had licensing issues. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. The 2015–16 Nemzeti Bajnokság III was Hungary's third-level football competition. The championship was won by Ferencvárosi TC II, Kozármisleny SE, and Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC. However, Ferencvárosi TC II could not promote to the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság II since reserve teams can only play in the Nemzeti Bajnokság III. Nemzeti Bajnokság III (''NBIII'', ''National Championship III'') is the third tier of Hungarian football (from the autumn of 1997 till the spring of 2005, NB III was the fourth tier, the third was NB II).
