''Dylan Scott'' is the debut studio album by American country music singer Dylan Scott. It was released on August 12, 2016, by Curb Records. The album features the single " My Girl", which was a number one hit on the ''Billboard'' Country Airplay chart. The album was re-released on August 4, 2017 with three new songs added. Content Scott co-wrote seven of the album's 13 tracks, including its first three singles. "Lay It on Me" was released in November 2014 as the first single from the album, though it failed to chart. "Crazy Over Me" was released as the second single in October 2015 and managed to become Scott's first top 40 hit on both the ''Billboard'' Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts. The third single, " My Girl," was released in July 2016 and became his first number one hit on the ''Billboard'' Country Airplay chart, while also reaching the top 40 of the ''Billboard'' Hot 100''. Dylan Scott Robinson (born October 22, 1990) is an American country pop singer and songwriter, better known by his stage name Dylan Scott. He is signed to Curb Records. Career Scott's debut single, " Makin' This Boy Go Crazy", was released in June 2013. Billy Dukes of ''Taste of Country'' gave the song three and a half stars out of five, writing that "the native Louisianan can really rumble when he reaches down to hit the low notes, but his performance won't leave female fans tingling like the greats." It charted for 10 weeks on the '' Billboard'' Country Airplay chart, peaking at number 54 in April 2014. The song's music video premiered on CMT in December 2013. A steel guitar ( haw, kīkākila) is any guitar played while moving a steel bar or similar hard object against plucked strings. The bar itself is called a "steel" and is the source of the name "steel guitar". The instrument differs from a conventional guitar in that it is played without using frets; conceptually, it is somewhat akin to playing a guitar with one finger (the bar). Known for its portamento capabilities, gliding smoothly over every pitch between notes, the instrument can produce a sinuous crying sound and deep vibrato emulating the human singing voice. Dan Dugmore
Dan Dugmore is an American session musician known primarily for playing the pedal steel guitar Born in 1949, Dugmore was raised in Pasadena, California. Influenced by the Flying Burrito Brothers, he learned to play steel guitar after Flying Burrito Brothers member Sneaky Pete Kleinow sold him one. Dugmore then joined John Stewart's road band, and then Linda Ronstadt's; he also played for several James Taylor albums. In the 1990s, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he began playing steel guitar on country music albums. He self-released a Beatles cover album in 2003 titled ''Off White Album''.
