Richard Pakleppa
Richard Pakleppa (born 1961) is a white Namibian screenwriter, film director and film producer. Pakleppa studied philosophy and theatre in Munich, Germany and gained a Honours Degree in African studies from the University of Cape Town. Catherine Meyburgh
Catherine Meyburgh is a South African film editor, filmmaker, artist and project designer. Career She started her career as a film editor in 1983 mainly focusing documentaries. She has served as an editor in over 30 documentaries which have been telecast on Arte, Channel 4, BBC and NBC. She worked as a film editor in animated films of prominent contemporary artist William Kentridge in 1990's. As a project designer in theatre and opera, she has worked with fellow prominent artists including Leora Farber, Georgia Papageorge and Willem Boshoff. Her project design have been displayed in various international exhibitions held in New York, Paris. She also initiated a project titled ''The Head & the Load'' collaborating with fellow artists William Kentridge, Philip Miller and Thuthuka Sibisi. Philip Miller (composer)
Philip Miller is a South African composer and sound artist based in Cape Town. His work is multi-faceted, often developing from collaborative projects in theatre, film, video and sound installations. Miller is currently an honorary fellow at ARC (The Research Initiative in Archive and Public Culture) at the University of Cape Town. Education Philip Miller trained firstly as a lawyer at the University of Cape Town and practised as a copyright lawyer. He studied music composition in South Africa with composers Jeanne Zaidel-Rudolph and Peter Klatzow at the University of Cape Town Music School. Silicosis
Silicosis is a form of occupational lung disease caused by inhalation of crystalline silica dust. It is marked by inflammation and scarring in the form of nodular lesions in the upper lobes of the lungs. It is a type of pneumoconiosis. Silicosis (particularly the acute form) is characterized by shortness of breath, cough, fever, and cyanosis (bluish skin).
