Dwight King
Dwight King (born July 5, 1989) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Los Angeles Kings and the Montreal Canadiens. He was a member of the Kings' Stanley Cup championship teams in 2012 and 2014. Playing career Los Angeles Kings King was drafted 109th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. He spent five seasons with the Lethbridge Hurricanes (spanning from 2004–05 to 2008–09) in the Western Hockey League (WHL). King made his professional debut during the 2009–10 season, playing 20 games in the ECHL with the Ontario Reign, and the remainder of the regular season and playoffs with the Kings' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs. The Los Angeles Kings are a professional ice hockey team based in Los Angeles. The team competes in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference and was founded on June 5, 1967, after Jack Kent Cooke was awarded an NHL expansion franchise for Los Angeles on February 9, 1966, becoming one of the six teams that began play as part of the 1967 NHL expansion. The 2009–10 AHL season was the 74th season of the American Hockey League. Twenty-nine teams played 80 regular-season games each from October 2 to April 11. This season featured the addition of one new team, the relocation of two others, and the involuntary suspension of another. The Arizona Coyotes are a professional ice hockey team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Coyotes compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference and currently play at the Mullett Arena in Tempe. Alexei Ponikarovsky ( ua, Олексій Володимирович Понікаровський; born 9 April 1980) is a Ukrainian-Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. Manchester Monarchs (AHL)
The Manchester Monarchs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). They played in Manchester, New Hampshire, at the Verizon Wireless Arena. They were the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League (NHL) Los Angeles Kings during the team's entire existence. The Monarchs won their only Calder Cup in their final AHL season.
