Dwain Anthony Chambers (born 5 April 1978) is a British track sprinter. He has won international medals at World and European levels and is one of the fastest European sprinters in the history of athletics. His primary event is the 100 metres, with a best of 9.97 seconds, which ranks him fifth on the British all-time list. He is the European record holder for the 60 metres and 4×100 metres relay events with 6.42 seconds and 37.73 s respectively. Chambers ran a 100 m world junior record of 10.06 s in 1997 and became the youngest ever world medallist in the event at the 1999 World Championships, taking the bronze. On his Olympic début at the 2000 Sydney Olympics he was the best European performer in fourth place. He broke the 10-second barrier twice at the 2001 World Championships. Dwain Atkins Esper (October 7, 1894 – October 18, 1982) was an American director and producer of exploitation films. Biography A veteran of World War I, Esper worked as a building contractor before switching to the film business in the mid-1920s. He produced and directed inexpensive pictures with titles like ''Maniac (1934 film), Sex Maniac'', ''Marihuana (1936 film), Marihuana'', and ''How to Undress in Front of Your Husband''. To enhance the appeal of these low-budget features, he included scenes containing gratuitous nudity and violence that led some to label him the "father of modern exploitation." Esper's wife, Hildagarde Stadie, wrote many of the scripts for his films. They employed extravagant promotional techniques that included exhibiting the mummified body of notorious Oklahoma outlaw Elmer McCurdy before it was acquired by Dan Sonney. Dwain Weston (31 January 1973 – 5 October 2003) was an Australian skydiver, BASE jumper and wingsuiter. On 5 October 2003, at the end of the inaugural Go Fast Games, Weston was killed while attempting to fly over the Royal Gorge Bridge near Cañon City, Colorado, United States. BASE jumping career Weston, who was originally from Sydney, Australia, worked as a software developer and was a skilled gymnast and surfer. In 2002, he won the world title in BASE jumping. Oakland A's The El Cerrito High School standout signed as an amateur free agent with the Kansas City A's in at just seventeen years old. He batted .249 with 31 home runs and 250 runs batted in over seven seasons in Athletics' farm system to earn a September call-up in . Anderson made his major league debut in the second game of a September 3 doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins. Anthony Dwain Lee (July 17, 1961 – October 28, 2000) was an American actor and playwright. He began his career in the 1980s appearing in numerous stage productions, and in guest roles on television and in films. While attending a Halloween party on October 28, 2000, Lee was fatally shot by a Los Angeles Police Department officer. Lee's death, and the circumstances surrounding it, garnered significant national and international media attention. Daniel Dwain Schoonover (October 8, 1933 – July 10, 1953) was an enlisted soldier of the United States Army during the Korean War and a posthumous recipient of the Medal of Honor at the Battle of Pork Chop Hill#The second battle (July 6–11), Second Battle of Pork Chop Hill. He was killed in action July 10, 1953 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii. Demorrio Dwain Williams (born July 6, 1980) is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Kilgore College for two years, then played at Nebraska. He has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Diego Chargers. College career Williams was born in Beckville, Texas. After high school, he signed with rural Cisco Junior College, but soon left the school.
