He appeared in 296 Czechoslovakian league matches and scored 56 goals during his club career. He made 24 appearances and scored two goals for the Czechoslovakia national football team. Ladislav Kuna
Ladislav Kuna (3 April 1947 – 1 February 2012) was a Slovak football player and manager, who played as a central midfielder. He played 424 matches and scored 86 goals in the Czechoslovak First League, all for Spartak Trnava. His number of appearances in the Czechoslovak First League was previously the record, and was only bettered by Přemysl Bičovský. Kuna was capped 47 times for Czechoslovakia, scoring nine goals. He was a participant in the 1970 FIFA World Cup. In 1969, he was named Czechoslovak Footballer of the Year. He was the chairman of Spartak Trnava from 2006 until his death in February 2012. Czechoslovakia National Football Team
The Czechoslovakia national football team ( cs, Československá fotbalová reprezentace, sk, Česko-slovenské národné futbalové mužstvo) was the national football team of Czechoslovakia from 1920 to 1993. The team was controlled by the Czechoslovak Football Association, and the team qualified for eight World Cups and three European Championships. It had two runner-up finishes in World Cups, in 1934 and 1962, and won the European Championship in the 1976 tournament. At the time of the dissolution of Czechoslovakia at the end of 1992, the team was participating in UEFA qualifying Group 4 for the 1994 World Cup; it completed the remainder of this campaign under the name Representation of Czechs and Slovaks (RCS, cs, Reprezentace Čechů a Slováků, sk, Reprezentácia Čechov a Slovákov) before it was disbanded. Sereď (; hu, Szered ) is a town in southern Slovakia near Trnava, on the right bank of the Váh River on the Danubian Lowland. It has approximately 15,500 inhabitants. Dukla Prague
Dukla Prague ( cz, Dukla Praha) was a Czech football club from the city of Prague. Established in 1948 as ATK Praha, the club won a total of 11 Czechoslovak league titles and eight Czechoslovak Cups, and in the 1966–67 season, reached the semi-finals of the European Cup. As late as 1985–86 they reached the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup semi-final and they also made a great impact in the American Challenge Cup competition in New York City with four wins between 1961 and 1964.
