Duygu is a female Turkish name. It is also a common word used as a noun, adjective or verb in everyday but also written language. For example, ‚duygusal olmak‘ translates into ‚to be sensitive‘. ‚Duygulanmak‘ translates into ‚to be touched by sb./sth.‘. Ethymologically the name derives from the verb ‚duymak‘, ie ‚to hear‘. Duygu Yılmaz (born May 3, 1988) is a Turkish women's football goalkeeper, who plays in the Turkish Women's Super League for Fatih Karagümrük with jersey number 1. She was a member of the U-17, U-19 and Turkey women's national team. Early years Duygu Yılmaz was born to a footballer father in Keçiören district Ankara Province, Turkey on May 3, 1988. Her older sister played also football. Playing career Club Yılmaz obtained her license for Gazi Üniversitesispor in her hometown on March 4, 2003. She began her career in the forward position. Duygu Asena (19 April 1946 – 30 July 2006) was a Turkish journalist, best-selling author and activist for women's rights. Biography She was born in Istanbul as the daughter of Nihal and Muhtar Asena. His father was in the sesame business. His grandfather is CHP Gümüşhane deputy Ali Şevket Öndersev. The poet İnci Asena is also her sister. After completing her secondary education at Kadıköy Private Girls' College, she studied at Istanbul University Pedagogy Department. Starting her career as a pedagogue, Asena worked at Haseki Hospital Children's Clinic and Istanbul University Children's House. Duygu Çete (born April 19, 1989, in Gümüşhane, Turkey) is a Turkish female visually impaired judoka ( disability class B3) competing in the -57 kg division. Duygu Ulusoy (aka: Duygu Gül Ulusoy; born April 24, 1987, in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, West Germany), is a female Turkish skier competing in the alpine discipline. She represented Turkey at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, becoming the first female Turkish Alpine skier in the Olympic Games. Duygu, born to a Turkish family living in Germany, started skiing in her age of six.
