Dusty is an unincorporated community in Socorro County, New Mexico, Socorro County, New Mexico, United States. History A post office was established in 1927, and remained in operation until 1983. The dusty character of local roads account for the name. New Mexico Highway 52 passes by Dusty, N.M. Dustin "Dusty" Donovan is a fictional character on CBS's daytime drama ''As the World Turns.'' He was recently portrayed by Grayson McCouch from February 18, 2003, to January 18, 2008. McCouch returned to the role on September 24, 2008.
