Bob Durgin was a former prominent radio personality in Pennsylvania. He retired in 2013 and died December 24, 2018. Early life and career Bob was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He joined the United States Air Force in 1962 and was stationed in Germany and Turkey. He became an Airman Second Class. He began his radio career in Europe in 1964. Upon his return, he worked as news director for KTOK in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 1989, he began working at WHP (AM) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. There, his radio show became "consistently popular" and was credited for increasing WHP (AM) to second place in its market. He was named the "Reader's Choice" best local talk show host in the Harrisburg area by Harrisburg Magazine. Ezra Durgin (9 August 1796 – December 1863) was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Biography Durgin was born in 1796 near Concord, New Hampshire. He married Temperance Nutter and moved to what late became Exeter, Wisconsin and later Manitowoc County, Wisconsin and Rock County, Wisconsin. He was involved in the lumber business. Harriet Thayer Durgin (August 17, 1843 – February 12, 1912) was a pioneering 19th-century American artist from the U.S. state of Massachusetts, who specialized in water colors and sketches of landscapes and still-lifes focused on botanical motifs. After studying in Paris, where she received special notice in the Salon of 1886, she shared a studio in Copley Square, Boston, with her sister, the muralist, Lyle Durgin. Durgin is remembered as one of the foremost American artists of the floral-painting genre during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
