Dunkard Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania
Dunkard Township is a township in Greene County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,181 at the 2020 census. Dunkard Township takes its name from Dunkard Creek, which runs through it. Geography Dunkard Township occupies the southeast corner of Greene County, bordered to the east by the Monongahela River, which forms the Fayette County line. The southern border of the township follows the Pennsylvania–West Virginia state line. Most of the township is drained by Dunkard Creek, an east-flowing tributary of the Monongahela. The southernmost part of the township is drained by smaller tributaries of the Monongahela, including Crooked Run. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which are land and , or 0.93%, are water. Bobtown is a census-designated place in Dunkard Township.
