Duncan Stewart (golfer)
Duncan Stewart (born 24 May 1984) is a Scottish professional golfer. Stewart was born in Grantown-on-Spey, Scotland. He turned professional in 2007 and played on mini-tours, winning three events on the PGA EuroPro Tour from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, he finished second in the EuroPro Tour Order of Merit, to earn a place on the Challenge Tour for 2013. In his first full season, he finished in 20th place in the Challenge Tour rankings, and was able to play 10 events on the European Tour in 2014. He won the 2016 Challenge de Madrid on the Challenge Tour. Grantown-on-Spey ( gd, Baile nan Granndach) is a town in the Highland Council Area, Counties of Scotland, historically within the county of Moray. It is located on a low plateau at Freuchie beside the river Spey at the northern edge of the Cairngorms, Cairngorm mountains, about south-east of Inverness ( by road). The 2016 World Cup of Golf (known as the 2016 ISPS Handa World Cup of Golf for sponsorship reasons) was a golf tournament played from 24–27 November at Kingston Heath Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia. It was the 58th World Cup. Twenty-eight countries competed as two-player teams. The format was 72-hole stroke play; the first and third days were alternate shot, and the second and fourth days were four-ball play. The tournament was won by Denmark by four shots. Dale Whitnell (born 9 August 1988) is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2023 Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed.
