Duncan Ross (British Columbia Politician)
Duncan Ross (May 15, 1870 – June 30, 1915) was a Canadian publisher, railway contractor, and politician, born in Bruce County, Ontario. He represented the constituency of Yale–Cariboo as a Liberal from 1904 until 1908, when he lost his seat to the Conservative Martin Burrell. His attempt to retake the seat in 1911 failed. Duncan Graham Ross
Duncan Graham Ross (26 May 1891 – 9 October 1982) was a Canadian merchant, soldier and Liberal politician born in Tottenham, Ontario. He served as part of the 47th Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force The Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) was the expeditionary field force of Canada during the First World War. It was formed following Britain’s declaration of war on Germany on 15 August 1914, with an initial strength of one infantry division ... during World War I and commanded the Middlesex Light Infantry Regiment from 1926 to 1931. He first ran for MP in Middlesex East in 1921, and was defeated, as he was in 1930. In 1935 he finally won the seat, and held it until 1945 when he was defeated by Harry Oliver White. He died at a hospital in London in 1982. Duncan Campbell Ross
Duncan Campbell Ross (December 16, 1871 – January 10, 1961) was a Canadian lawyer and Liberal politician. He sat in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario representing Middlesex West from 1907 to 1908 and Middlesex North from 1908 to 1909. He represented Middlesex West in the House of Commons from 1909 to 1921. During the Conscription Crisis of 1917, Ross remained loyal to the anti-conscription (and largely francophone) Laurier Liberals, and was one of only 8 members of the faction to be elected from Ontario in that year's election. Duncan Alexander Ross (November 4, 1873 – 1954) was an Ontario farmer and political figure. He represented Glengarry in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1919 to 1923 as a United Farmers member.
