"Dumb Things" or "I've Done all the Dumb Things" is a song by Australian rock group Paul Kelly and the Coloured Girls, released as the fourth single from their second album, '' Under the Sun''. It was released by Mushroom Records imprint White Label Records in January 1989 and reached No. 36 on the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Singles Chart. In the US, it was released under the band name, Paul Kelly and the Messengers, which reached No. 16 on the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock chart. A music video, directed by Larry Williams, was provided for the single – a still from the clip is used as the single's cover. The song was included on the soundtrack for the 1988 Yahoo Serious film ''Young Einstein'' and the single was re-released with a different cover, although with the same catalogue number. Paul Kelly (Australian Musician)
Paul Maurice Kelly (born 13 January 1955) is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with other artists and groups, including associated projects Professor Ratbaggy and Stardust Five. Kelly's music style has ranged from bluegrass to studio-oriented dub reggae, but his core output straddles folk, rock and country. His lyrics capture the vastness of the culture and landscape of Australia by chronicling life about him for over 30 years. David Fricke from ''Rolling Stone'' calls Kelly "one of the finest songwriters I have ever heard, Australian or otherwise". Kelly has said, "Song writing is mysterious to me. Lash (band)
Lash were an all-female alternative/ punk rock band from Perth, Australia. The members Belinda-Lee Reid (vocals, guitar), Jaclyn Pearson (drums), Jessica Bennett (lead guitar) and Micaela Slayford (vocals, bass) who all met at the Catholic Santa Maria College. The group released one studio album, '' The Beautiful and the Damned'' in 2002. History 1996–2003: Exteria & Lash After being together for a few weeks, and at age 14, the girls, named Exteria, entered the song "Aloha Mr Hand" into the Open Youth Category for the under-18s WAM Song of the Year in the 1996 West Australian Music Industry Awards. Tenor Saxophone
The tenor saxophone is a medium-sized member of the saxophone family, a group of instruments invented by Adolphe Sax in the 1840s. The tenor and the alto are the two most commonly used saxophones. The tenor is pitched in the key of B (while the alto is pitched in the key of E), and written as a transposing instrument in the treble clef, sounding an octave and a major second lower than the written pitch. Modern tenor saxophones which have a high F key have a range from A2 to E5 (concert) and are therefore pitched one octave below the soprano saxophone. Bass Guitar

Michael Armiger
Michael William Armiger is an English-born Australian guitarist and teacher. He has been a member of various groups including Paul Kelly Band (1983–84), Paul Kelly and the Coloured Girls (1985–86), John Kennedy's Love Gone Wrong (1987–88), The Johnnys (1988–89, 1991), The Go-Betweens (1989), and Sean Kelly and the Iron Dukes (1990). Biography Michael William Armiger was born in Hertfordshire. His father, John, played double bass, piano and sang in local bands; his mother also played piano and sang.
